The present invention relates to a method for producing an emphysema-causing animal model and, more specifically, to a method for producing an emphysema-causing animal model, wherein a step of over-expressing an insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) protein is included. From a transgenic animal produced by means of the method of the present invention, emphysema caused by an IGF2 which is locally expressed only in lung epithelial cells of lung tissues can be confirmed compared to existing models so as to be properly used in studying lung diseases such as emphysema and used as an effective model mouse for screening an emphysema treating agent as a novel molecular indicator for treating and preventing emphysema.
