The present invention relates to a dummy load for testing the performance of a high voltage power supply. The objective of the present invention is to provide a dummy load system for testing the performance of a high voltage power supply for a traveling wave tube, which can test the performance of a high voltage power supply for a traveling wave tube by considering the characteristics of the traveling wave tube, and a dummy load for a high voltage power supply and a method for testing the performance of a high voltage power supply using the same. The dummy load according to the present invention comprises: a cathode terminal to receive power from a high voltage power supply; a dummy heater load, a dummy collector load, and a dummy helix load to receive power from the high voltage power supply and connected to the cathode terminal; and a switch unit connected between the dummy heater load, and the dummy collector load and the dummy helix load to control the operation of a dummy collector and a dummy helix according to FE or grid on/off signals of the high voltage power supply.
