The present invention relates to a nickel catalyst supported on a phosphorous-containing mesoporous alumina xerogel support, a manufacturing method thereof and a manufacturing method for hydrogen gas by steam reforming of liquefied natural gas using the catalyst and, more specifically, to a nickel catalyst supported on a phosphorous-containing mesoporous alumina xerogel support which is used in hydrogen gas manufacture by steam reforming of liquefied natural gas (LNG), has a pore with a diameter of 2-50 nm and a nickel supported shape n a phosphorous-containing mesoporous alumina xerogel support in a weight% range of 0.1-50 based on the whole catalyst weight, wherein an atom ratio of aluminum is 0.01-1, a manufacturing method thereof and a manufacturing method for hydrogen gas by steam reforming of liquefied natural gas using the catalyst. The present invention is able to improve adsorption of reactants by changing interaction force between nickel and alumina supports by the introduction of phosphorous and is effectively manufacture high purity hydrogen gas by applying the catalyst to the steam reforming of LNG.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
