The present invention relates to an apparatus for selectively separating boric acid from waste water, which uses a forward osmosis membrane coated with cellulose triacetate membranes; accordingly treats high concentration boric acid of waste water in an efficient manner; does not need high pressure, temperature or other energy when separating boric acid from waste water, thereby reducing cost in a treatment process; and treats at least 85% of boric acid from the waste water, thereby removing at least 99% of nuclide and salt in an efficient manner, and a method for selectively separating boric acid from waste water using the same.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
