The present invention relates to novel plant type wheat Iksan 370 with long spikes, plenty of grains, high yield, and hard wheat, and a breeding method thereof and, more specifically, to a novel wheat system Iksan 370 in which Xian 83 as a mother plant and Keumkang wheat as a father plant are hybridized, and to a breeding method thereof. Iksan 370 according to the present invention has a faster harvest maturity than Xian 83, the mother plant, which allows to be cultured in the Korean atmosphere. Iksan 370 according to the present invention has longer spikes and more grains than Keumgang, the father plant, which has a large potential in the quantity. Accordingly, Iksan 370 allows to reduce production costs per unit area, which secures the competitiveness in price, thereby contributing to the industrialization of domestic wheat, establishing a foundation for increasing the degree of food self-support through development of ultra-multi grain wheat varieties, and increasing the incomes of farmers.
