The present invention relates to a method for producing a high purity manganese sulfate monohydrate to obtain the high purity manganese sulfate monohydrate from byproducts generated in a manganese steel alloy smelting furnace containing manganese. The method for producing the high purity manganese sulfate monohydrate from byproducts of the manganese steel alloy electric furnace comprises: a step of reducing byproducts generated in the manganese steel alloy smelting furnace by using carbon (S10); a leaching step (S20); a first impurity removing step (S30); a second impurity removing step (S40); a step of collecting a manganese compound (S50); a step of remelting the manganese compound using sulfuric acid (H_2SO_4) (S60); and a step of collecting manganese sulfat emonohydrate (MnSO_4·H_2O).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
