The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Cortex Mori Radicis extract, a Patrinia saniculaefolia extract or a mixture thereof as an active ingredient, which increases the expression of a key maintaining factor and anti-apoptotic factor of mesenchymal stem cells to promote the osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells.
