The present invention relates to a waterproof cloth for suppressing a fire and a fire suppression method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a fire suppression waterproof cloth using a BIM comprises: a thermal image camera for taking a thermal image outside a building wherein a fire breaks out; a wireless communication part for receiving BIM data of the building wherein a fire breaks out from a BIM server; a firefighting terminal including a main processing part for tracking the location of a fire point by combining information on a thermal image taken from the thermal image camera with information on BIM data received from the wireless communication part; and a waterproof cloth main body for spraying fire extinguishing water toward the fire point by receiving the location of the fire point tracked from the main processing part. Therefore, a fire can be easily and quickly suppressed through a BIM and a thermal image.
