The present invention provides an apparatus for HQS modeling and tuning using flight test data and a control method thereof. The control method comprises: a first step of allowing a base analysis module to perform a wind tunnel test and CFD analysis for a helicopter according to helicopter modeling elements; a second step of allowing a simulation plan setting module to set a baseline model of the helicopter based on the result value analyzed by the base analysis module and set a flight test plan based on the set baseline model, after the first step; a third step of allowing a simulation module to perform a flight test by multibody dynamics techniques set by the simulation plan setting module, and organize and output the test results, after the second step; a fourth step of allowing a tuning module to tune the baseline model of the helicopter based on the result of the flight simulation performed by the simulation module after the third step; and a fifth step of allowing an evaluation module to evaluate the tuned model with a pilot on board and complete a final helicopter model by the multibody dynamics techniques based on the evaluation results after the fourth step. The present invention as described above can build a helicopter simulation model after performing HQS modeling and tuning using some flight test data to easily construct a static model of the aircraft over all sectors through the built trend, thereby maximizing ease of helicopter development.
