The present invention relates to an anti-uncontrolled acceleration device for a vehicle, which allows a driver or an occupant in a front or back passenger seat to reduce an output of an engine manually and rapidly, thereby preventing, in advance, or minimizing a vehicle collision accident; and an anti-uncontrolled acceleration method using the same. The anti-uncontrolled acceleration device for a vehicle comprises: an emergency air blocking valve which is installed on an air supply line connected to an engine; a first cable which is connected to the emergency air blocking valve; an emergency fuel blocking valve which is installed on a fuel supply line connected to the engine; a second cable which is connected to the emergency fuel blocking valve; and a cable tension adjusting member which is installed near a driver seat and capable of adjusting the tension of the first and second cables concurrently.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
