The present invention relates to a method for detecting an anorectal disease and an apparatus thereof. The method for detecting an anorectal disease using manometry, wherein a plurality of pressure sensors are arranged along a random location area in a longitudinal direction at prescribed intervals, comprises the steps of: acquiring a pressure value from each of the pressure sensors for a prescribed period of time; acquiring a three dimensional pressure distribution that shows changes in pressure with respect to the location and time using a location of each pressure sensor within the random location area, the period of time, and the pressure value; and calculating a volume integral of a prescribed location area of interest corresponding to the disease in the three dimensional pressure distribution. Accordingly, an anorectal disease and various related diseases can be efficiently diagnosed by using pressure values from sensors located near an anorectal area among the pressure sensors in a manometry device when the manometry device is inserted.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
