The present invention relates to a license management method and a system performing the same, and more specifically to a license management method and a system performing the same, which restricts an unauthorized installation and implementation of a software by using inherent license information in internal network environment. The license management method comprises the steps of: (1) setting information for an available band of an internal network, information on a number of devices available by using a license, initial information including license expiry date information, and a sort value for issuing a license; (2) inputting the encoded sort value and the set initial information by using a personal key to a random number generation unit, inputting result values outputted from the random number generation unit to a one-way code process unit, and generating hash values to compose a license key; and (3) delivering the license key to a device connected to the internal network.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
