The present invention relates to an operation method of a fuel injection device for a coal gasifier, and a fuel injection device for a coal gasifier, the invention comprising the steps of: inputting, through an input unit of a control unit provided to select an oxidizer inflow and a specific swirler among a plurality of swirlers, a type of pulverized coal, an inflow of the pulverized coal, and a yield required for a gasification generation material; selecting the specific swirler via a database stored in advance in the control unit and selecting the oxidizer inflow and thereby, outputting through an output unit; and supplying the selected oxidizer inflow to an oxidizer pipe and installing the specific swirler to a cooling body to operate the fuel injection device for a coal gasifier.
