Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for interference alignment by maximizing SLNR in a multi-antenna interference channel. The apparatus for interference alignment by maximizing SLNR comprises a pair of a transmitter and a receiver which comprise a multi-antenna participating in interference alignment. The pair of the transmitter and the receiver may include: a free-coding matrix generation unit which generates an eigen-vector with respect to a signal space, required by the transmitter, and an inverse of signal leakage power if the pair of the transmitter and the receiver operate as a receiver; and a decoding matrix generation unit which generates a unique vector with respect to a signal space, required by the receiver, and an inverse of a signal leakage power.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
