The present invention relates to a hybrid room-and-pillar mining method which comprises the steps of: forming a top mine, a central mine, and a bottom mine; forming a stopping face, a vertical pillar, and a floor horizontal pillar on a top mining unit through the top mine; forming a stopping face, a vertical pillar, and a floor horizontal pillar on a central mining unit through the central mine; forming a first extended vertical pillar for connecting the vertical pillar of the top mining unit and the vertical pillar of the central mining unit by mining the floor horizontal pillar of the top mining unit corresponding to the stopping face of the top mining unit to connect the stopping face of the top mining unit and the stopping face of the central mining unit; forming a stopping face, a vertical pillar, and a floor horizontal pillar in a bottom mining unit through the bottom mine; and forming a second extended vertical pillar that extends from the vertical pillar of the bottom mining unit downward by mining the floor horizontal pillar of the bottom mining unit corresponding to the stopping face of the bottom mining unit.
