The present invention relates to a strontium aluminate-based phosphor and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to a SraAlbO4: Eux, Dyy, Mz, Nω phosphor and a method for manufacturing the same. The strontium aluminate-based phosphor in accordance with the present invention is a phosphor comprising alkaline metals and lanthanide metals and, especially has an excellent long afterglow properties. In addition, the method for manufacturing the strontium aluminate-based phosphor in accordance with the present invention optimizes a condition of simultaneous addition of alkaline metal precursors and lanthanide metal precursors, use of fusing agent for controlling particle sizes, synthesis at high temperatures, etc. to improve the long afterglow properties, thereby manufacturing the phosphor with excellent long afterglow properties.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
