1. A two-stroke internal combustion engine (10), comprising at least one cylinder (20) with a piston (24) configured to reciprocate between its top dead center and bottom dead center, and a cylinder cover (26) restricting the combustion chamber (22), the oxygen-containing gas inlet (18) at the bottom of the cylinder (20), opening to the combustion chamber (22) at least while the piston is in its bottom dead center position, the inlet (30) for gaseous fuel located in the cylinder between the inlet (18) d I oxygen-containing gas and the cover (26) of the cylinder, and the exhaust valve (28), which is located in the cover of the cylinder, and the engine is characterized in that the cover (26) of the cylinder is equipped with at least one pre-chamber (36) ignition, opening in the combustion chamber (22) through its pre-chamber opening (34), for igniting a substantially lean gas mixture in the combustion chamber (22), and the fact that the synchronization of the exhaust valve (28) is controllably controlled. 2. A two-stroke engine according to claim 1, characterized in that the engine (10) is equipped with a control system (40) connected with the possibility of actuating the ignition fuel nozzle (38), the inlet (30) for gaseous fuel and the exhaust valve (28) so that no unburned gaseous fuel is released due to the purge action. 3. A two-stroke engine according to claim 1, characterized in that the exhaust valve is located in the cylinder cover near the central axis of the cylinder. 4. A two-stroke engine according to claim 3, characterized in that the cylinder cover (26) is equipped with several pre-chambers (36) for ignition opening into the combustion chamber (22)
