FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: method for producing thallium iodide of high-impurity raw material can be used for producing extra pure thallium iodide. Substance of the invention: producing extra pure thallium iodide is two-staged: the first stage involves preparing a sodium tetraiodothalate solution; at the second stage, filtration of the solution is followed by dosing the sodium hydroxide solution and depositing thallium iodide; the thallium iodide is finally cleared by deposited thallium iodide treatment with ion-exchange resins.;EFFECT: method enables using production wastes containing thallium iodide, or high-impurity thallium iodide; the method ensures the quality of the extra pure product.
