They are switched off at the moment when ?t=140-150 electrical degrees, which coincides with the switch off time for the controlled winding of the traction-feeding transformer. Due to the above control the maximum compensation of an inductive load is ensured and active power is consumed maximally from the mains and the electromagnetic energy accumulated in the circuit of rectified current is used fully.EFFECT: maximum effective usage of electromagnetic energy accumulated in the circuit of the rectified current to the supply of traction electric motors.
