A floating platform carries tidal, wind and solar energy converters. The tidal turbine is a vertical axis turbine 4 driving a generator 5. The current enters from either direction by a concentrating funnel, and is directed upwards by a baffle 2. The platform may also support a vertical axis wind turbine 8, which may share a common generator with the water turbine 4. The platform may also support solar panels, and accommodation for emergency use or for sea based activities.
