PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monocular motion stereo distance estimation method and a monocular motion stereo distance estimation device, capable of easily estimating a distance to an object in a photographed image.;SOLUTION: A distance estimation device 5 is configured to be installed in a vehicle 1. The distance estimation device 5 includes: a camera 3 configured to photograph an image; an image storage part 11 configured to store the photographed image; an optical flow calculation part 13 configured to calculate an optical flow from an image center according to a plurality of images; a vehicle speed sensor 9 configured to measure the speed of the vehicle 1; and a distance estimation part 15 configured to estimate a distance to an object in an image, according to the optical flow from the image center and the vehicle speed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
