PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strike cavitation air bubbles properly against a desired location of a scroll.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a water jet peening step in which cavitation air bubbles formed through injection of water jet in submerged state are injected toward one side surface of end plate 13A of a scroll 13 and a step 13Aa and a stage 13Ba are positioned at an outer periphery portion of the cavitation air bubbles C under a state in which the centers P1, P2, P3 of the cavitation air bubbles are spaced apart from the center O of swirl part of a wall member 13B at end plate 13A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
