PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display position data on a drive shaft at a mechanical end and position feedback data on the drive shaft so that the data items can be compared with each other in time sequence.SOLUTION: A time-sequential data display device 100 acquires position feedback data at intervals of a predetermined sampling cycle, acquires position command data for a mechanical end from a numerical control device, acquires actual position data of the mechanical end at intervals of the predetermined sampling cycle, calculates time-sequential position data of a moving point on the drive shaft on the basis of the position feedback data, produces a command moving locus of the mechanical end on the basis of the time-sequential position command data for the mechanical end, produces an actual moving locus of the mechanical end on the basis of the time-sequential actual position data of the mechanical end, calculates position data of the mechanical end representing an intersection between a straight line, which is perpendicular to the command moving locus and passes a moving point, and the actual moving locus, converts the position data of the mechanical end into position data on the drive shaft, and displays in the same display format the time-sequential position feedback data and time-sequential position data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
