PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ribbed double raschel knitted fabric in which rib-like protrusions are not caused to fall down, curve or deform by pressing force upon sitting or the like, and which is excellent in scratch resistance.SOLUTION: A ribbed double raschel knitted fabric comprises two ground structures on the front and back sides and connecting yarns for connecting the ground structures. In the ribbed double raschel knitted fabric, there are alternately formed rib-like protrusions made by connecting a front fabric structure with a back fabric structure by the connecting yarns and recesses comprising the back fabric structure. Insertion yarns are arranged on a sinker loop surface of the back fabric structure forming the recesses so as to be adjacent to the rib-like protrusions in the same direction as a knitting direction. The height of each insertion yarn is in the range of 0.1-4.0 mm, and a difference between the height of the insertion yarn and the height of the rib-like protrusion is in the range of 0.2-6.0 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
