PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize clad quality by a simple method.SOLUTION: In a laser clad manufacturing method, a build-up processing is performed on a toric valve seat part of a cylinder head by melting supplied metal powder on irradiating the metal powder with laser beam while supplying the valve seat part with the metal powder. The laser clad manufacturing method comprises a step of starting metal powder supply and laser beam irradiation and a step of moving the position of metal powder supply and that of laser beam irradiation from the start position of metal powder supply and that of laser beam irradiation to the top of the valve seat part to move by one turn along the toric shape of the valve seat part from the moved position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
