PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eel breeding device and an eel breeding method capable of heightening safety of a breeding work of eel, and improving efficiency of the breeding work; and to provide eel bred by the eel breeding method.SOLUTION: An eel breeding device 100 includes a water tank 1 and a light source 2. The water tank 1 is installed in a shaded dark room 3. The light source 2 emits only blue light in the dark room 3. The light source 2 may be a blue light-emitting diode.
