PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the confirmation of vehicle window closure forgetting at arbitrary timing.SOLUTION: A vehicle window closure forgetting prevention device 100 includes a sound generation unit 101 for generating a confirmation sound signal for confirming vehicle window closure forgetting, a sound collection unit 103 for collecting sound outputted from a sound output unit 102 on the basis of the confirmation sound signal, a sound feature analysis unit 104 for analyzing a feature of a sound signal collected by the sound collection unit 103, a control unit 105 for controlling a notification unit 106 for providing a notification of vehicle window closure forgetting on the basis of the feature analyzed by the sound feature analysis unit 104, and a transmission unit 107 for transmitting information indicating the vehicle window closure forgetting to an external apparatus 110 preliminarily registered as the notification unit 106.
