PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inducing differentiation of a cardiac muscle cell from a pluripotent stem cell in which a high-quality cardiac muscle cell can be manufactured in a large amount, stably, inexpensively and simply, and a culture medium additive preferable for the method, a differentiation induction regulator, culture medium, a kit for fabricating culture medium, and a kit for inducing differentiation of a cardiac muscle cell from a pluripotent stem cell.SOLUTION: A method for inducing differentiation of a cardiac muscle cell from a pluripotent stem cell includes: an embryoid forming process of suspension-culturing a pluripotent stem cell and forming an embryoid; a mesoderm induction process of suspension-culturing the embryoid and inducing a mesoderm; and a cardiac muscle cell induction process of suspension-culturing the embryoid after the mesoderm induction and inducing a cardiac muscle cell, in which the cardiac muscle cell induction process includes first cardiac muscle cell induction processing and second cardiac muscle cell induction processing, and culture medium in each of the processes is a specific culture medium.SELECTED DRAWING: None
