PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in a cost by making it possible to keep thermal energy required for decomposing methane hydrate low, and to improve efficiency of collecting a methane gas from benthic methane hydrate.;SOLUTION: There is provided a methane hydrate gasification apparatus 10 for gasifying methane hydrate existing on the bottom of water 12 to collect the methane hydrate. The apparatus 10 comprises: a first chamber body 2 into which a first heat medium 6 can be put, and which a mass of methane hydrate rising in the water can enter; a floating mechanism unit 4 for floating the first chamber body 2 in the water; a heating unit 40 for heating the first heat medium 6 in the first chamber body 2; and an extraction unit 28 for methane gas generated by methane hydrate decomposing in the first chamber body 2.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
