PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal energy meter and a thermal energy meter system with which it is possible to extend the life of a battery.SOLUTION: Provided is a thermal energy meter 2 driven by electric power supplied from a battery, said meter comprising: an integration unit 21 for calculating the thermal value to be measured and integrating the calculated values; a thermal value determination unit 22 for determining, each time a preset measurement period elapses, whether or not the increment of the thermal value integrated by the integration unit 21 in the latest measurement period is within the range of permissible errors based on the increments of thermal value stored in a reference profile 2P corresponding to the time slots of the measurement period; and a transmission unit 23 for transmitting a signal indicating the increment of thermal value to a management apparatus 3 by wireless communication, only when it is determined that the increment of thermal value is not within the range of permissible errors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
