PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pupil detection device capable of improving the detection accuracy of a pupil.SOLUTION: A pupil detection device 1 comprises: a light source 3A for radiating first illumination light; a light source 3C for radiating second illumination light; and a pupil detection unit 13 for detecting a pupil by using a bright pupil image and a dark pupil image. The pupil detection unit 13 includes: an information holding unit 14 for holding first information indicating positional relation between the light sources 3A, 3C; an estimation unit 16 for estimating second information indicating the position of virtual corneal reflection appearing on the dark pupil image by using corneal reflection by the light source 3C in the first information and the dark pupil image; and a pupil detection unit 19 for detecting a pupil by using a differential image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
