PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for shielding high salt concentration leachate capable of surely shielding water without inhibiting the swelling properties of a water shielding layer from a saline solution in the high salt concentration leachate and to provide an installation method of the layer for shielding the high salt concentration leachate.;SOLUTION: An installation method of a layer for shielding high salt concentration leachate comprises: a laying and leveling step laying and leveling bentonite ballast having a grain size of 9.5 mm and a water content of 25% or less to have a predetermined thickness; a rolling compaction step rolling and compacting the bentonite ballast laid and leveled to the predetermined thickness after the laying and leveling step; and a transpiration preventive measure step where a transpiration preventive measure is performed by spraying water to have a water content of a bentonite ballast layer of 30% or higher after the rolling compaction step and being preliminarily swelled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
