PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a thermoplastic multifilament yarn which is friendly to the environment without using alkali reduction processing; and to provide a processing method for a synthetic fiber fabric having the thermoplastic multifilament yarn used which can inhibit a fastener phenomenon.;SOLUTION: A plurality of thermoplastic multifilament yarns are supplied in a feed direction in air processing S1, and air gaps between filaments are formed such that an apparent yarn thickness is increased by 5-15% or more as compared with a thermoplastic multifilament yarn which is not subjected to the air processing. At the same time, a thermoplastic multifilament yarn is produced by entanglement of a plurality of single fibers which occurs in the feed direction.
