PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow field measurement method using minute air bubble, and a flow field measurement device for water tank, capable of accurately measuring a flow field around of an object which moves in water, such as flow of a stern of a model ship in a smooth water area or in a wave for example, in a ship test water tank, using minute air bubbles which do not remain in water as tracers.SOLUTION: Air bubble blowout means 40 for blowing out minute air bubbles is provided on a front side of an object 20, the air bubble blowout means 40 is moved with the object 20 at equal speed, in a same direction, thereby based on movement of the minute air bubbles blown out from the air bubble blowout means 40 and flowing in the surrounding of the object 20, a flow field is measured.
