PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance estimation accuracy by estimating a traffic distribution after associating information outside a communication network, such as a natural phenomenon and the occurrence of an event, with traffic data.;SOLUTION: A traffic distribution estimation device for estimating a traffic distribution on the basis of traffic data acquired from the communication network includes: means for filtering the traffic data for use for traffic distribution estimation, on the basis of the condition of external information; means for generating a likelihood function from the filtered traffic data to generate a post-event distribution on the basis of the likelihood function; means for generating prediction distribution data on the basis of the generated post-event distribution; and means for generating a prediction density function on the basis of the generated prediction distribution data and for outputting estimated traffic distribution information from the prediction density function.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
