PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales data management server suitable for comprehending and analyzing the sales result of a commodity, for each sales promoter, the commodity which has been recommended to a customer by the sales promoter in charge of promoting sales of the commodity on a sales floor.SOLUTION: A sales floor selling commodities is provided with: a floor terminal which is operated by a sales promoter recommending a commodity; and a register terminal which is operated by a checker handling the payment for the commodity. Information on recommendation of a commodity to a customer made by the sales promoter is received from the floor terminal. If the commodity has no record of purchase by a customer, the information is held as a recommendation history in a suspended state. A piece of information on a commodity purchased by a customer, the information received from the register terminal is stored as a purchase history. When a purchase of the commodity whose recommendation history is a suspended state is confirmed, the suspended recommendation history is validated and thereby the recommendation history made by the sales promoter is recorded as effective information. Thus, the sales result of the recommended commodity can be comprehended and analyzed for each sales promoter.
