The invention aims to provide an Fe based soft magnetic powder for obtaining high-resistivity pressed powder magnetic core through adjusting hydroxyl density on the surface of the Fe based soft magnetic powder. The Fe based soft magnetic powder of the invention is characterized in that the hydroxyl density on the surface of the powder is in a range above 20(at%*g/cm2) and below 100(at%*g/cm2). The hydroxyl density is represented by [the concentration of O*(ratio of Metal-OH)]/SA, wherein the ratio of Metal-OH in the formula represents the ratio of hydroxyls in the surface of the powder relative to the concentration of O, the concentration of O (at%) and the ratio of Metal-OH (%) are analysis results which is measured by XPS, wherein SA represents specific surface area of the powder surface (m2/g).
