a process for preparing nanoparticulate titanium dioxide dispersions, dispersions that can be obtained by this process and surface functionalization by applying titanium dioxide dispersions. The present invention relates to a process for preparing nanoparticulate thio-2-nanoparticulate dispersions in anatase crystalline form and to the dispersions obtained by this process. Such dispersions are useful in preparing photocatalytic coatings on surfaces and in photocatalytic decontamination of gas and liquids.
