Diisopropyl ether isobornu00edlico and process for synthesis of diisopropyl ether isobornu00edlico from camphene catalyzed by heteropoliu00e1cido.The present invention proposes an innovative process for the synthesis of diisopropyl ether isobomu00edlico, an innovative product, which has the structure I (Figure 1), which can be used in formulations of synthetic lubricants, perfumes and fragrances, from camphene, a monoterpeno of natural origin.The proposed procedure is performed in homogeneous and heterogeneous systems by coupling of two molecules of camphene and one molecule of water catalyzed by heteropoliu00e1cido, dissolved or supported on solid support, the innovative aspect of the process is the use of heteropoliu00e1ci The heteropoliu00e1cidos being preferably of a series of Keggin, preferably H ~ 3 ~ PW ~ 12 ~ ~ to 40 ~,Soluble or supported on solid support, preferably silica, as a catalyst for synthesis with high selectivity of camphene derivative, ether di - isobornu00edlico structure I (figure I) from camphene.
