This invention relates to a diagnostic and therapeutic apparatus which is a pair of footwear for improving the gait comprising of a compressible base sole, a plurality of two-state pushbutton pressure switches disposed across the upper side of the footwear, a controller and a display means wherein switches representing the pressure application by the user and aiding the user to manipulate the state of each contact point intelligently by displaying the state of contact points and guiding the user continuously to improve the gait towards normal walking gait.
