A system and a method for facilitating selection of one or more student for an internship program by one or more user over a digital environment, and further allocating at least one industry to one or more student. The system includes a database, and a processing unit coupled with database. The database stores instructions related to students and at least one industry. The processing unit includes a selection module to enable the user to select at least one industry based on first pre-defined criteria, and further enables the user to select one or more student based on second pre-defined criteria. The processing unit further includes a correlation module to correlate the selected at least one industry with the selected student based on a first pre-defined parameter and a second pre-defined parameter. Furthermore, the processing unit includes a first allocation module allocates one industry to a first set of students.
