the present invention relates to the development of a new approach to decision support for selecting the best potential sites that may contain a dump.the method according to the invention is a hybrid approach based on stakeholders is based on a combination of the landsat7 etm + satellite imagery, geographic information systems (gis), the fuzzy analytic hierarchy (fahp) and the electre iii method (e the elimination and choice translating reality) is unclear.this process can be regarded as a tool for effective decision-making and support space for the politicians, planners and policy makers.
