The invention relates to a polymeric nanocomposite based on polyethylene and polyamide reinforced with montmorillonite, intended for manufacturing certain elements of electric equipments and appliances. According to the invention, the nanocomposite is a mixture of 70...90 parts of polyethylene, 10...30 parts of polyamide, 1...5 parts of maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene as related to 100 parts of plastomer and 1...7 parts of montmorillonite as related to 100 parts of plastomer chemically modified with 5% propylaminotriethoxysilane and 15% octadecylamine, the parts being expressed by weight.
