WAY pathological differential diagnosis of internal carotid arteries

摘要

Method of pathologic differential diagnosis of internal carotid arteries includes pathological examination of the internal carotid artery to identify their characteristics. The carotid artery fragments are studied under light microscope, and it is determined the state of fibrous cellular components of the vascular wall, namely the intima, media, and adventitia pre-adventitia layer, and it is carried out the assessment of revealed pathological changes in the point system: while the amount is 4 points it is diagnosed atherosclerosis, with the amount of 8 points it is diagnosed fibro-muscular dysplasia, with total of 16 points it is diagnosed a pathological deformation, with the amount of 19 points it is diagnosed a nonspecific aorto-arteritis.
