Procedure for the inertisation of fly ash from the incineration of municipal solid waste containing heavy metals and chloride ions, wherein the ash is mixed with a solution containing a stabilizing agent to obtain a treated ashes maintaining heavy metals as solid more insoluble than the original ash and dried.
