REMOTE UPGRADE METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SOFTWARE ON SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL, AND UPGRADE PACKAGE CREATION METHOD

A remote upgrade method and system for software on a self-service terminal and an upgrade package creation method, which are used to solve the technical problems in the prior art that the correctness of a software installation package of a new version cannot be really ensured from the perspective of content and whether the new-version software can meet requirements on a terminal type and a running version of a self-service terminal cannot be determined. The method comprises: determining whether the terminal type conforms to stipulations about the terminal type in the upgrade requirements, and if not, stopping the upgrade (S3); determining whether the running version number conforms to stipulations about the version number in the upgrade requirements (S5), and querying whether a characteristic value exists in an upgrade correctness verification file (S8); and if yes, performing software upgrade on the self-service terminal by using the new-version software package (S9).
