Provided is a method for representing a characteristic of a problem set. The method for representing a characteristic of a problem set including a plurality of problems according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining characteristics of problems included in the problem set, wherein a characteristic of each problem is determined by an attribute associated with the each problem and a relationship between the corresponding attributes; and determining the characteristic of the problem set by a union of the characteristics of all problems included in the problem set, wherein the characteristic of the problem set is determined by attributes associated with all problems and a relationship between the corresponding attributes.
