The present invention relates to a health food supplement for maintaining joint health and alleviating arthritis symptoms, and a preparation method therefor and, more specifically, to: a health food supplement prepared by using, as raw materials, chicken feet, cactus, mulberry tree root bark, Rosa multiflora root, Acanthopanax sessiliflorus, Ganoderma lucidum, Cnidii Rhizoma, Angelica gigas Nakai, Glycyrrhizia uralensis, and jujube; and a preparation method therefor. Since the health food supplement is made from natural ingredients only, the health food supplement is rapidly absorbed into the body, thereby having effects of repairing damaged cartilage so as to promote cartilage elasticity, inhibiting or treating inflammation, reducing intra-articular inflammation and edema, and alleviating arthritic disease symptoms.
