The present invention relates to a security sensor apparatus based on the gas pressure and a method for authenticating a user based on the gas pressure. The security sensor apparatus based on the gas pressure, including a security sensor for performing user authentication on a terminal, comprises: a pressure sensing unit for sensing the gas pressure from the outside; a pattern analysis unit for analyzing a pattern of the gas pressure sensed by the pressure sensing unit; and a user authentication unit for performing user authentication by comparing the detected pattern analyzed by the pattern analysis unit with a predetermined pattern.
