Disclosed is a poker game rule based match 3 puzzle game system. The poker game rule based match 3 puzzle game system according to an embodiment of the present invention relates to a game system operated by a client device comprising: a block generating unit and a game performing unit. The block generating unit generates a plurality of blocks, in which an image and a symbol of different poker card groups are displayed, in the client device. The game performing unit performs a match 3 puzzle game in the client device based on the generated blocks. The game performing unit deletes a block group when the same type of blocks among the blocks form the block group which is arranged in a predetermined direction; and sets matching conditions which are converted into different scores based on a card combination rule of a poker game corresponding to the image and the symbol of the card group included in the deleted block group.
